The name “anchovy” has an interesting origin in sport fishing and is a fish from the family found in the Mediterranean Sea. It has a strong flavor and is a source of omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins A, D and B12, as well as minerals such as iron and calcium. One positive point about anchovies is that, compared to other fish rich in omega 3, they tend to be more affordable.
