The Prego fish is found in tropical and temperate waters around the world, and capuchin fish is almost exclusively a bycatch of tuna. Capuchin fish can be imported from Fiji, Ecuador, and other countries. In the United States, it comes mainly from the Gulf of Mexico. Capuchin fish is rich in omega-3 and a source of iron, zinc, potassium, and phosphorus, essential nutrients for strengthening the immune system. Like most fish, it has a large amount of B vitamins, essential for cellular metabolism.
