JELUCEL® celluloses retain water and ensure that the mortar dries more slowly. As a result, it can be applied to the substrate more evenly and retains a smooth texture for longer. The increased drying time and the associated extended open time lead to optimum processing properties.

The adhesion properties are also improved. JELUCEL® fibers not only affect the bond of the mortar to the substrate, but also the bond of the tile to the adhesive. The slipping tendency of the tile decreases, while the tensile adhesion strength increases.
