Argentine Shrimp Santana

Origin: Argentina / Brazil

This shrimp (called Langostino in Argentina) is a cold-water species and is caught on the coasts of southern Argentina and at certain times of the year in southern Brazil. When caught in Brazil, it is very small and is sold together with the 7barbas, although its color and flavor are very different. In Argentina, it reaches much larger sizes and it is for this reason that it has been sold in Brazil as a substitute, or when there is a shortage, of our Pink Shrimp. Like all cold-water shrimp, when cooked, it contracts and its size decreases considerably.

It is presented without a head and with the shell; without a head, without the shell and without viscera or without the shell, without viscera with “glue” (cocktail type)
